Dr. Jessica Swanson
Doctor of Education in Leadership and Learning with a specialization in K-12 Educational Leadership
Jessica Swanson, daughter of Richard and Joy Swanson, is a dynamic educator and committed community leader, whose career spans 25 years of dedicated service in the field of education. Her relentless curiosity and passion for teaching were cultivated early in her life by her parents. Throughout her career, Jessica has made a significant impact in the classroom and is known for her international and local community service.
As she looks to the future, Jessica remains committed to her mission of educating and uplifting others. With a wealth of experience and an unwavering dedication to learning, she continues to inspire those around her, demonstrating that education is not just a profession but a lifelong journey.
Jessica holds a B.M.E. from The University of Northern Iowa, an M.Ed. from Concordia, Irvine, and an Ed.D. from Aspen University, is a member of Delta Epsilon Tau, holds board positions with Redlands Theatre Festival and California Music Educators Association, is founder and conductor of San Bernardino’s Empire Wind Ensemble, and was named a Paul Harris Fellow in 2008.
Erica Montoya
Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Administration and Management, (RN to MSN Bridge Program)
Erica Montoya, born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, overcame early challenges, losing her parents to addiction during high school. Despite this, she excelled in the arts and dance while also earning her CNA certificate. Her frontline work during the COVID-19 pandemic as an RN showcased her dedication. Having earned her master’s degree, Erica aims to make healthcare more accessible through her innovative business ventures. She’s a beacon of hope and determination, poised to leave a lasting impact on her community and beyond.
