At Aspen University, our accredited degree programs cost significantly less than comparable degree programs offered at other private institutions. Plus, we offer flexible payment options to ensure that every student has an opportunity to earn an advanced degree. Special tuition rates are available for active, retired and reserve military. Graduate Degree Programs and Courses:

Course by Course Enrollment

Tuition is $300 per semester credit ($900 per 3-credit course). Books and materials must be purchased separately.*


Multiple Course Pre-payment

Degree seeking students are afforded significant tuition savings by electing this pre-payment plan.

Masters-level programs:
Pay for 4 courses at the course-by-course tuition and subsequent additional courses required to complete your degree program are charged at only $200 (per 3-credit course) tuition plus books, materials and fees.*

Multiple Course Pre-payment plan is not available for the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program.
Additional tuition costs apply for clinical practicum courses in the MSN program. Students will be charged an additional $250 per course for the following courses:

N527 Nursing Administration Practicum I   
N532 Nursing Administration Practicum II  

Doctorate programs (Ed.D.):
Pay for 4 courses at the course-by-course tuition and subsequent additional courses required to complete your degree program are charged at only $300 per 3-credit course ($100 per credit) tuition plus books, materials and fees.*


Certificate Program Enrollment

Students who enroll and pay for all courses required to complete a Certificate Program are afforded a 20% tuition discount off of the course-by-course tuition amount. Discounts do not apply to fees, or books and materials which must be purchased separately.*

In most cases materials include required Lecture Notes ($100.00 per course) and Text Books (average $100.00 per course). Discounts do not apply to books, materials or other fees. The required textbooks may be purchased from our bookstore (or any source you wish). Lecture notes must be purchased through Aspen University Publications

* The tuition deferment fee is charged to students whose employer is paying tuition. The fee is refunded upon receipt of payment from the student's employer. Tuition for individual course enrollments must be paid before the student can progress to the next course. Students enrolling using the Tuition Deferment method will need to provide personal credit card details. In the event of withdrawal or dispute with the employer, the credit card will be charged for all outstanding tuition and fees per the refund policy.

** The administration fee is retained by the University when a student drops from a course or program. The fee is $180 for Graduate programs or $150 for Undergraduate programs.

Employer Educational Support Partnerships

Employer Educational Support Partnerships (EESP) provides an opportunity for Directors and Vice Presidents of Training and HR to provide educational benefits to their employees. EESP participation is free to any organization with 2 or more employees enrolled in courses or programs, and results in tuition discounts of 10 to 20 percent.
